The Hope Presbyterian Session met last night (3/17/20) and decided to immediately cancel all congregational gatherings until at least April 5, 2020. We desire to submit to the presidential guidelines to restrict groups to 10 or less. This means that there will be no public worship on March 22 or March 29 and there will be no Sunday School, Men’s and Women’s Bible studies, home groups, prayer gatherings or Youth Groups. We plan on live-streaming our Sunday worship services and making the sermons available on our church website: hpcopelousas.org. Thanks for your prayers and faithful support of the Gospel ministry at our church. – Pastor Dean
The Hope Presbyterian Church live stream will be available on the Hope Presbyterian Church Facebook page and the Hope Presbyterian YouTube channel. Subscribe to access live streams and videos on your smart TV or streaming device.

Our church worked a tent at the Opelousas Children’s Christmas Parade serving cookies and hot chocolate to those who attended, while sharing the good news of Christ’s birth!
Over 40 children participated in Vacation Bible School held June 17 – 20, 2019. Students learned Bible songs, Scripture verses, and the story of Hudson Taylor, a missionary to China.
Vacation Bible School at Hope Church will be June 17-20 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM for ages 3 – 11. Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. Complete your registration form here! We would love to share God’s word with your little one(s).
The 2019 Year Verse at Hope Church is from Psalm 67:1-2
67:1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us, Selah
2 that your way may be known on earth,
your saving power among all nations.
