Hope House

The people of Hope Presbyterian Church desire to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ by showing grace and mercy to our community. We aspire to love our neighbors well through both word and deed. Since 2007, Hope Church has maintained Hope House, which was designed to accommodate 20-person mission teams in Opelousas, Louisiana. Our 20-bed house that accommodates mission teams wishing to serve in Opelousas. Full kitchen, dining room, large living room, 3 showers, 2 bathrooms, a spacious front porch, and some of the most comfortable mattresses imaginable.

We welcome mission teams from churches, schools, and other organizations to utilize our amenities as they work in our city on projects such as

  • community revitalization
  • low-income housing remodeling
  • youth outreach
  • serving in local high-need schools
  • flood relief
  • meeting needs of local Christian ministries

We also partner with Hope for Opelousas and the Refinery Mission, ministries targeting children and the homeless in our community that provide many opportunities for visiting groups to use their unique talents and skills.

For more information, please contact us! We love to show hospitality to those who do mercy ministry in our city.
